pages that describe the tournament brochure (tournament format, awards, etc.), our permission to host, a field map, rules,
directions to Greenvale soccer Complex and printable directions. For GPS and map program users (Google Maps, MapQuest)
the address use is “1 Toomey Drive, Poughkeepsie NY”. The “I Love NY Dutchess County” logo is a link to Dutchess county
tourism. This has things to do, hotels, restaurants, events and tours and trails.

IMPORTANT RULES (CLUB AND LEAGUE POLICIES, AND TOWN ORDINANCES)
We expect all guests, players, parents and coaches to abide by the East Hudson Youth Soccer League (EHYSL) and
Poughkeepsie Soccer Club (PSC) codes of conduct. A combined document which includes a medical release and the codes of
conduct for EHYSL and PSC are posted at the website.

GREENVALE PARK SOCCER COMPLEX RULES AND POLICIES
Greenvale Park is a town park and is graciously provided to our Club at no cost. The Town recreation department maintains
the fields, mows the grass and lines the fields. The following apply to the playing area only and not the parking lot.

1. SMOKING: It is Club policy that the use of any tobacco products in the area of the fields (inside the fence) is
prohibited. It is also town ordinance that there is to be no open flame, hot coals (including lit cigarettes) in the
playing
area.
2. ALCOHOL: Again by town ordinance, there is to be no use of alcoholic beverages in the park.
3. PETS of any kind or size are not allowed in the field area. If you bring a pet, they must remain in the parking
area
outside of the fenced in playing area. They must be leashed and their business must be picked up.
4. PARKING: Please park in the lined spaces and respect the legally marked handicapped parking spaces along the fence
which are subject to ticketing by town police who will be patrolling. Also, under no circumstances block the gateway
into the field area and leave your car unattended. This must remain clear for emergency vehicle access. There should be
no need to park in the neighborhoods of Toomey Drive or Greenvale Farms road. However, if parking overflows, you must
obey all signs in the area. A town police officer will be on duty at the tournament. When the lower lot is full, coaches or
large vans full of players will be allowed to go down and drop off players and/or equipment
such as tents. Please follow instructions of the parking attendants.
5. FOOD: While you certainly may bring in food (no grilling in the field area), we intend to have plenty of a variety of
food to purchase at prices that do not exceed local area food place prices. Food sales are a fundraiser with all profits
going to the Poughkeepsie Under 14 Girls “Hotshots” team. The town recreation department will provide us with plenty of
picnic tables and garbage cans.
